Successful Recent Cases Charge: Theft 1 (felony). Result: Case Dismissed. After extensive investigation of witnesses and the alleged victim and his background together with his version of events, John was able to prove that a crime had not been committed. More importantly, John was able to prove this to the Clark County Prosecutors Office prior to trial resulting in an entire dismissal of the case. The dismissal saved our client thousands of dollars in trial costs and prevented him from having any criminal record or jail time Charge: Assault 2 DV and Intimidation of witness (both felonies). Result: Charges significantly reduced saving years of prison time and deportation. In addition to John's client facing several years of prison time he was not a US citizen and faced deportation and never seeing his children again After intensive investigation into facts of the case and the alleged victim as well as challenging the police on their assumptions, John was able to get charges significantly reduced to Assault Non-DV and the other charges reduced to a misdemeanor. In the end, the client served 15 days and was saved years of prison time and deportation. |
